October 25 - 29

 Construction Grade 6:  Design Thinking Starting toy project Ideation prototype plan Next week we will start looking at creating a material list Next week we will start learning about the tools and building our skills Construction Grade 7, 8 & 9 A B and C Students are finishing the rough out phase and refining the shape of their projects Students will continue working towards finishing their projects next week Next students will describe our experiences making the projects and submitting them for a final mark  Electro-Technology Students are finishing their work learning about analogue inputs and outputs Students have begun learning about pseudo-code as they continue to develop their coding skills Next we will begin developing our robotic rovers

October 18 - 22

  Construction Grade 6:   Safety Assignment Safety test Construction Grade 7, 8 & 9 A B and C Students will continue to be getting materials and finalizing their designs Students who have laid out their designs will begin roughing out their projects Next week we will begin refining the shapes and fit of our projects Electro-Technology Students are continuing to work with breadboards,  digital inputs and how to use a serial monitor this is part of our ongoing learning We are continuing to learning about analogue inputs and outputs Next students will be working on creating pseudo-code

October 12 - 15

 Construction Grade 6:  First week of this rotation Welcome Redefining Failure  Safety Construction Grade 7, 8 & 9 A B and C Currently we are learning to use the tools in preparation of beginning our first project build Students will be getting materials and finalizing their designs Next students will be laying out and beginning to build their projects Electro-Technology Students are continuing to work with breadboards,  digital inputs and how to use a serial monitor this is part of our ongoing learning We are now learning about analogue inputs and outputs Next we will begin developing our robotic rovers 

October 4 - 7

Construction Grade 6:  Last day of this rotation is Friday October 15. Toy ideation - due October 7 Toy Plan - due October 7 many students have completed their plans have moved on to their toy build - due October 14 Construction Grade 7, 8 & 9 A B and C Some students are are working on the first project ideation and prototype plan -due this week Currently students are learning about how to create a cut list and material list for their project  Next we will be learning to use the tools in preparation of beginning our first project build Electro-Technology Students have begun learn about Arduino micro controllers and programing language Currently students have been introduced to breadboards, digital inputs and how to use a serial monitor this is part of our ongoing learning Next students will begin learning about analogue inputs and outputs
